Popular with expats and anglophiles, each FrobPub has its own microbrewery producing beers with names like Inseine, Dark le Triomphe and Parislytic to accompany restaurant food and British sports on the TV.

Gap year students are provided with a structured training programme and health insurance as they learn lessons in greeting and serving customers, driving sales and maintaining a clean environment. Staff are need both in the bar and in the kitchen.

JobSpy: A Comenius Assistant in Europe

The Comenius Assistants Programme is an EU trainee teacher placement to help participants improve their language skills and gain an insight into another European education system.

Comenius Assistants receive grants to work in schools and colleges across Europe for 12 to 16 hours per week. Placements are flexible from 13 to 45 weeks. Tasks include assisting in classroom teaching, supporting pupils’ group work, participating in project-based teaching, teaching their mother tongue and providing information on their own country.

A Week in Amsterdam – JobSpy: Comedy Club Jobs with Boom Chicago

Join the 50 great people and two jerks who keep this established comedy club running. Boom Chicago performs comedy shows around the world but it is in their 225 seat Amsterdam theatre where both behind the scenes and on stage roles are offered to English speakers.

The multimedia-improvisation-sketch comedy shows are performed in front of an audience enjoying a meal and drinks. Though kitchen staff are currently not being recruited wait staff and runners are needed to keep the food and drinks coming.

A Week in Berlin – JobSpy: Full Scholarships to Work and Study in Germany

What: The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) for Young Professionals

The CBYX annually provides 75 young Americans with an understanding of everyday life, education, and professional training in Germany. Beginning in July the programme includes two months of intensive German language training in Germany, four months of classroom instruction at a German university or college of applied sciences, and a five month internship in the participant’s career field. Participants are placed throughout Germany.

The scholarship includes a round trip transatlantic flight, university tuition, language training, living stipend, insurance and program related travel costs while in Germany. Accommodation is provided in a German home or student residence.

A couple are wanted to cook and clean within the roles of chef and chalet host. Between them the couple are expected to prepare meals – including breakfast and afternoon teas of freshly baked cakes – for up to eight guests and ensure that the chalet is kept clean.

Applicants should be over 28, have a driving license, a recognised catering qualification, experience and a flair for food. You must also have extremely high work standards, be customer focused, self motivated and conscientious. Stamina, enthusiasm and a sense of humour are essential.

This job is available on a remote cattle station in North West Queensland where the work involves cattle mustering, fencing and general station work. Accommodation and meals will be provided.

Men are requested to apply as the work is physical and involves some heavy work. Applicants should have a good work ethic, not mind early starts, be versatile and willing to learn and preferably have a useful trade such as welding.

Fundraising and Administration Internship in Rwanda

The Aegis Trust, a genocide and mass atrocity prevention organisation, is looking for an intern to help with fundraising and publicity for the Kigali Genocide Memorial in Rwanda.

Based in Kigali, the three month internship is unpaid but provides room and food.

Duties include engaging with social media sites and online forums, supporting the implementation of an international speaking tour for a young Rwandan survivor and undertaking various administrative tasks.

The Adventurists are looking for someone to run the Rickshaw Run, one of the many interesting capers this organisation presents to the public in an effort to enliven our dreary lives now that maps no longer have edges.

While at first glance these people look like the sort that shouldn’t be allowed to run with scissors, let alone lead expeditions around South America, Asia and Africa, the reality is a great deal of professionalism is required to make these things happen with minimal casualties.
