PGL operate skiing and snowboarding trips for schools and groups and jobs are available in Austria, Italy, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and the United States. Applicants must be available for the February half term week, which in 2011 is the 19th to the 25th.

The Monte Verde Butterfly Garden, an environmental education centre in Costa Rica, seeks enthusiastic volunteer guides to lead one and a half hour tours around the centre.

Volunteer guides are expected to give up to four tours a day, help at reception, and perform general maintenance duties. The minimum stay at the butterfly garden is two months with one day off each week. Your working week will be rewarded with three squares and a bed.

You must be experienced and able to demonstrate a very high level of proficiency in at least one of the two disciplines. Les Elfes only accept applications from people who have a recognised ski/snowboard instructing qualification. You will also be involved in waking up the students and supervising meals. A typical working day is from 7.30am until 4pm.
