Even in Turkey the summer sun is only just beginning to get serious about beating down on us with any concentrated intensity. The duvet is still on the bed, the fan sits in bits unused on the office floor and, despite being a man overly fond of winter coats and shade, I’ve yet to cast a spiteful eye at the fiery orb in the sky and wish it would just bugger off already.
