We took our first major trip in 2002 when we spotted in a copy of TNT an advertisement for round the world flights. At £860 the idea of flying to Peru and making our way overland to Argentina, crossing the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand and Australia before exploring Southeast Asia, seemed a bargain too good to miss.

The Parque Das Aves is often overlooked by visitors to the Brazilian side of the Iguacu Falls. A shame, as the bird life from around the world is easy to view either in cages or in the covered enclosures.
Hello. It has been a busy and at times exhausting couple of weeks since the last issue. We have left Salta, in the North of Argentina, and travelled quickly across the country to Paraguay.
